Garden of Grief is opening the EP with a beautiful piece of emotion. I'm not sure if I can say it like that but the riffs gave me the feeling of safety and security. They've just made it's way through my mind and have evoken some very deep feelings, mostly melancolie.
The song starts with a very Burzum like riff but very fast it transforms into something warmer, what I think is really nice. Because the bands of today are focusing to be as cold as it's possible so this is really a nice surprise.
What's left to say, the drums are giving perfect accent to the riffs and the vocals aren't to extreme. So, they do not ruin the amazing atmosphere of the song.

Now let's talk a bit about Neige Et Noirceur's song.
Also here we have a obvious Burzum influence witch isn't really positive in most cases because bands are mostly copying the style of the riffs and that's all no atmosphere, no deeper meaning, it's just nothing.
But that's definitely not the case in here the song offers so much diversity be it the old school rawness of the production that's giving a deeper meaning to the atmosphere or be it the vocals that reach from deep clean singing to the more common black metal screaming.
All in all the song is great piece of raw art that will be appreciated by
people who understand.
