Now to the review...
when I first put the cd on and heard the first few seconds of "A tort et a Travers"
I instantly knew what I'm about to face. I expected a mixture of rock/metal & electro music
and that's what I've got in here. The songs are straightforward with some very interesting
twists here and there. I couldn't prevent myself to think of Rammstein, T3CHN0PH0B1A
and even Rob Zombie at some points.
What I really like about this release is the great fusion of "classic" instrumentation with electronic soundscapes. They really managed to create a fine balance between these two elements. The only
think that I don't like are the vocals. Don't get me wrong, they're executed good and they fit the style
of music but for me it just doesn't get me "pumped" although there are some moments where everything is 100% right for example, on the 2nd track "ExZeel" the pure agression in the voice and testosterone in the
music create a very cool atmosphere and makes me bang my head.
All in all it's a fine release..
it has great riffs and a interesting atmosphere I only wish that there was something I could hold on too.
Also before I forget, the lyrics of are in french which I find awesome.
So, if You're up for a mixture of electro and metal music that will make You drive fast this is something
worth Your time. :)
