Dark ambient artists of today are pretty much copying each other
and creating nothing worth to mention and their also destroying the magic
of this wonderful genre. It reminds me a bit of the history of black metal.
But neither the less there are still some artists who really know what this
music is all about. And I'm glad to tell You that "Magiska Krafter" is one
of this few.
Let's talk a bit about the record..it's very I wouldn't say experimental but
more avantgarde. It has an atmosphere that pretty let's say fresh but also
very familiar. While listening to the album I couldn't help myself but at
some parts I've thought that I'm listening to some funeral doom band like
Thergothon for example. Because the songs have a nice
variousity that's very hard to find these days.
What's left to say? If You're into ambient music with a ritualistic touch
then this is something You just don't want to miss.
