Walking through a rainy forest followed by wolves, crows and leaded by the moonlight into the dark sacred land between the trees. Where only a few of us were chosen to go and experience pure hatred
and darkness which the night forest offers.
That would be my little interpretation of the atmosphere this album has.
A thing that's showing the good constructed imagery and music is that it absolutely complements each other. Just take a look at the imagery it evoked in me.
Anyway, the music reaches from slow nature based ambient songs over acoustic songs to very aggressive and heavy black metal songs with great raw riffs, insanity filled vocals and very precise and fast drumming.
A thing that I really like about this album is the number of songs.
It has become a rarity that bands release albums with more than ten songs.
So, that's a nice refreshment and other great thing is that the atmosphere is present in all of the songs. You can really feel the coldness of the winter night.
